ACTIVITIES FOR CHILDREN

Children will not get bored here. They can romp around with many attractions such as scooters, bicycles and cars, trampolines, archery, bob-sledge track, Summer Tubing in the summer and Snow Tubing in the winter, skifox, snowbike, snowscoot, MAXILAND, or sledges in the winter.

KARKULKA (Little Red Riding Hood)

Karkulka is a fairytale educational path, a funny wandering for the whole family with cableways and on tourist paths and learning about fauna and flora of the National Park. While walking, children will solve riddles and attractions, such as a unique museum of nature (exposition of stuffed animals in the altitude of 1670 m a.s.l.), “lomidrevo” – burly man, “drevofón” – wood phone, natural science information boards, massage stones but also a fairytale bar.

FUN PARK TATRALANDIA

The Fun Park Tatralandia is the largest nature amusement area in Slovakia and Poland. The identical copy of a small town of the American Wild West from the late 19^th century will welcome you with a unique programme show in the Wild West style, with lots of dramatic and stunt performances.

FOREST RAILWAY OF POVAŽIE

The forest railway in Liptovský Hrádok is a collection of furniture of the forest railway of Čierny Váh which started to be built in 1913. Besides freight, it was also used for public transport, approved by authorities since 1932. This track lead to Liptovský Hrádok through Liptovská Teplička up to Zátureň under the hill Kráľova hoľa and it was the longest railway in Slovakia at that tijme. You can see it in the Museum of Liptovská village in Pribylina.
